Dr. Isaac Olaniyi Olawoore was born into the family of Mr. John Ayansiji Olawoore and Mrs. Grace Mosobalaje Olawoore of Olawoore Compound, Ayetoro Area, Ogbooro, Oyo State.
Isaac attended Baptist Primary School, Ogbooro for his primary school education. He proceeded to Ogbooro Grammar School, Ogbooro for his junior secondary school education. He did his senior secondary school education in Oyo State College of Education Model High School, Oyo.
Isaac proceeded to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso for his undergraduate education where he studied Civil Engineering and graduated with Second Class Upper Division in 2011. He went to University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom for his master’s degree programme and graduated with Merit in Advanced Geotechnical Engineering in 2016. Isaac got his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom in 2020.
Dr. Olawoore work as Lecturer I and pioneer HOD of Civil Engineering, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo between October 2020 and December 2021. He voluntarily resigned and relocated back to the United Kingdom in December 2021 to join TechnipFMC, an international oil and gas design and construction company as Geotechnical and Survey Engineer. In 2022, he changed role within TechnipFMC and became Project Engineer, and in 2023 he was deployed to Installation and Construction Department of TechnipFMC as Structural Engineer, where he worked on structural reliability of offshore seafastening structures, dropped objects analysis of offshore structures until he voluntarily resigned his appointment to start his own business.
Dr. Olawoore is a recipient of NYSC Presidents’ Honours Award.
